A berth range is a geographically separate contiguous section of berth slots. It is a required attribute of a Berth Model, and you can define as many berth ranges as needed.
The berth range is used in the N4 Advanced Berth Scheduler option to give a user-defined name to the range for display and visibility. The user can launch a view of a configured Berth Range in the Advanced Berth Scheduler, which allows slices of the berth to be viewed and assigned a user-defined name.
The Berth Ranges tab (in the Edit Berth Model form) displays the berth ranges defined for the berth model. You can add, edit, or delete berth ranges on this tab. The Berth Ranges tab column headings are listed in the table below.
